Colorful Buddha 30"x30"x1.5"
This piece was done almost entirely with a knife and my fingers. There is very little brushwork on here. I love the feeling a big open canvas under my hands. When I started this I had no idea what would transpire. The minute my hands touched the canvas a face appeared. Colorful Buddha was a liberating work for me. Kind of a fun story with this one. I put it out on eBay almost immediately after it was done and within minutes it was sold. Little did I know that my son-in-law had been following me and bought it for my daughter. They had just moved out to Colorado and he did this as a complete surprise to her. It now hands in their home, which just pleases me to no end. This work makes a wonderful print in any size.
