I love working with texture and this technique, discovered purely by accident, is one of the most fun. It was hard for me to put color on this as the "white" rendition of it was incredibly interesting. But I am glad that I did. I really like the depth accented by the color soaking down into the lines. The minute it dried I saw an enchanted forest in it. I get lost looking at the trees and envisioning how they would be alive. I also thought about bringing that out in the painting, but decided that the viewers imagination is so much better than my painting could ever be. So look on...find the magic and get lost in the Enchanted Forest!
