This was a truly fun compilation of my artwork, my husbands photography (David Ralph Johnson) and my beautiful daughter Anna. This picture was picked out of a run of about 600 of her jumping in the air on a beautiful July day. She was a teenager and full of all the joy and freedom that summer brings to a young girl. There was not a bad picture in the whole bunch. This particular one has been worked up many different ways and I have painted it a few times. Such a touching and uplifting artwork Theresa! The quote is wonderful and I love the way you've put it together with this fabulous photograph of your daughter, a true family compilation. L/F
Theresa Marie Johnson replied:
Linda, thank you so much for the really nice comment. I'm sorry my response is delayed, my health has not been well and I've been in and out of the hospital. Part of the whole journey...but not a fun part, that's for sure. During these times it's difficult for me to do my art, but I still get out in the studio...even if it's just to rest a bit on the couch and be in the space. It's healing, that's for sure. :-)
