Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption. The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton. Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").
Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Sisters is representation of the five beautiful women that I gave birth to. The little poem I wrote on the side says this. “Sacred is the fabric, the thread spun and formed. Sister’s bond unbroken, beautifully worn.” There is a lot of very personal symbolism in this painting of which I intend to write about to my daughters. As they have grown into women I have watched their relationships deepen and this has been one of life’s greatest gifts to me. The good times fill me with joy. But it’s the grace by which they journey through the struggles that is the true miracle, the true beauty to me. I never imagined I would learn so much from them.
This painting is for any woman who has experienced the love of her “tribe”. Whether it be blood sisters or the ones we choose for ourselves along the way. There is nothing like the love of a “sister”.
Theresa Johnson is a wife, mother, artist, and writer. She and her husband David, photographer and owner of Star Prairie Gallery, live in Wisconsin where they enjoy spending time with their family. Theresa, artist and owner of Star Prairie Studio, spent years working as a business analyst for the State of Minnesota before becoming disabled in 2009 by Lupus, Sjogren’s Syndrome and Rheumatoid Arthritis . Her writings speak to life lived with a chronic and incurable disease. Her paintings represent that journey, often times exploding with energy and color, symbolizing qualities such as beauty, strength, vulnerability and grace.
