Description
I have learned that for every emotionally difficult painting I do, I end up following it with something really light and fun. Spring Bouquet was one such painting for me. I had just created Broken and was in need of something bright and cheery. We are having an unusually warm winter, record breaking warm temperatures here in Wisconsin and even though it's still February, the air smells of Spring. I am hopeful. This painting, as with all of my paintings, holds a little bit of my journey with Lupus. The purple and the butterflies - a symbol of Lupus - travel light in this work. Yes...I am hopeful. My wish is that you feel the same as you venture into Spring Bouquet.
